      Project Manager Officer (PMO) (d/f/m)

      Your tasks and responsibilities

      In this role you will ensure application of the required project management processes, methods and tools according to Airbus Defence and Space business management system. Responsible to consolidate information and provide quantitative as well as qualitative KPIs and data to report project status and enable discussion and decision making at project/programme level.

      Your main tasks and responsibility will include:

      • Responsible for ensuring the awareness, adoption and suitability of divisional project management; processes, methods and tools to the TASG programs/projects.

      • Lead / contribute to Improvement initiatives defined and designed to bring positive change in TASG

      • Lead best practice & continuous improvement for the TASG PM population concerning processes and tools

      • Support the Programs to plan and manage all PM relevant domains like scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk & opportunities and resources within the relevant perimeter

      • Organize and support the monthly TASG programs reviews

      • Follow-up of programmes status including reporting to all management levels

      • Ensure application of change management, documents and data management in TASG Programs

      • Performance monitoring (milestones tracking), control and reporting, phase reviews.

      • Risk and Opportunity Management

      • Planning & maintaining the Airbus PM Certification


      Desired skills and qualifications

      • University degree (3 years bachelor or similar)

      • Experience in planning and reporting of programs/projects

      • Knowledge in Project Management Processes and associated IT tools related to project management (ARM, Unified Planning)

      • Deep understanding & practice of Airbus’ PM, PMO and Bid processes, methods, tools & procedures - Intermediate level

      • Experience in managing complex/detailed information and generate aggregated/analytical overviews adapted to different stakeholders

      • Demonstrated capability to generate internal documentation, summary/synthesis documents, minutes of meeting and project management associated documentation required to steer a project

      • Good analytical capabilities and pro-active attitude

      • Ability to work across functions, and to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels

      • Excellent communication and facilitation/moderation skills

      • English and German at negotiation level will be essential due to the nature of the role and the stakeholders; other languages would be a plus
