      About the role

      We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Commercial Lines/Specialty Solutions Ops & Planning team!

      As a Project Manager your work will have a big impact on the success of our Specialty Solutions Insurance strategic projects. People will count on you to manage our Stakeholders’ needs, collaborate with our internal partners, and oversee the resourcing and timelines of our projects.

      What you'll do here:

      • Oversee the established project vision within the program
      • Define the overall project scope and objectives with stakeholder and project team
      • Manage sponsor and stakeholder expectations.
      • Follow and control the project evolution and communicate the progress made, in line with corporate policies and standards.
      • Manage project risks including contingency and critical path.
      • Contribute to the evolution of scope, resolution of issues and suggest alternatives to achieve organizational objectives.
      • Provide project leadership to the squad, use appropriate methodology, and ensure the team has all the required tools complete their work
      • Maintain open lines of communication with multiple levels of stakeholders
      • Develop a deep understanding of the business processes and business needs
      • Participate in the development of a multi-year strategic roadmap
      • Lead and manage project teams to effectively utilize strengths of team members.
      • Collaborate with BA and PO managers to identify and develop talent, allocate work, and ensure current practices are optimized
      • Participate in team management meetings to continually improve team engagement, performance, and team processes
      • Engage in moving forward the maturity of the organization’s Agile practice

      What you bring to the table:

      • You have 5 + years in leading projects successfully, negotiating scope, budget and timelines with various stakeholder groups.
      • You have strong business, strategic and financial acumen and understand how pieces fit together.
      • You are assertive, exert positive influence while maintaining the proper degree of consideration for the people with whom you interact
      • You forge strong relationships with stakeholders and can work with all levels from individual contributor to executive, and from different areas of the business.
      • You have strong written communication skills and are comfortable giving presentations to employees and to executives alike.
      • You are able to work on multiple projects and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment, maintaining grace under pressure with tight deadlines.
      • You have the proven ability to lead teams in multiple locations and business areas to accomplish a common goal with a focus on supporting the client.
      • Experience in P&C Insurance and Agile Planning Methodology is preferred.
      • Project Management Professional certification (PMP) is preferred.
