- Project setup, including budget and schedule creation and oversight.
- Development of RFPs, pre-bid planning, oversight, and coordination.
- Leading design phases and managing documents internally with stakeholder groups and SMEs.
- Coordinating and supervising contractors, whether traditional or design-build.
- Overseeing physical construction activities on-site.
- Leading commissioning of critical systems across new and existing data centers.
- Handing off data center and project documents to customers and operations.
- Managing contractor safety performance.
- Planning and coordinating logistics for OFCI equipment.
- Managing project scope, safety, schedule, stakeholders, work rules, and budget.
- Driving all construction aspects from pre-construction to project closeout.
- Acting as project leader, ensuring coordination among internal teams.
- Managing project management resources of General Contractors and vendors.
- Reporting to the Client's Special Projects team and manager.
- Managing project execution from concept to commissioning and preparing reports.
- Making day-to-day construction decisions.
- Performing QA/QC to ensure accuracy.
- Ensuring project work products meet client requirements.
- Tracking and establishing project budgets, submitting approval packages.
- Collaborating on project forecasts and managing contractor agreements.
- Managing vendor and contractor relationships.
- Reviewing billing and confirming budget adherence.
- Facilitating lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Coordinating project turnover documentation with Operations.
- Working closely with Operations on design and maintenance coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
- 5-7 years of project management experience, with 8-12 years preferred.
- Strong technical construction experience required.
- Data Center and General Contractor experience preferred.
- Experience in CSA and MEP construction management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MS Project, or P6; knowledge of Procore is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Excellent English comprehension and communication skills.
