      Webasto is seeking highly motivated candidates that have experience ensuring excellent technical performance and optimum availability of production equipment to join our team as a Project Manager Series (full-time) at our facility in Auburn Hills, MI. Telecommuting permissible; Hybrid- 3 days in office, 2 days remote.

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Develop and maintain the Program Strategy, master schedule, and part tracking system PTS.
      • Schedule project review meetings with appropriate colleagues and customers to review, engineering changes, bill of materials, scrap, warranties and quality concerns.
      • Plan, schedule, and manage engineering changes and PPAP process with effectiveness at plant level.
      • Develop timing commitment to teams and customers for engineering changes and improvement activities for cost reduction to achieve reduction targets.
      • Report Project Status such as sales, scrap, budget, Bill of Materials and contribution margin.
      • Monitor and resolve product open issues list with internal and external customer.
      • Facilitate and participate in product design, manufacturing and tool kick off reviews.
      • Represent Webasto as interface with customer contacts to assure program deliverables are met for Webasto automotive roof products.

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • U.S. Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
      • Five (5) years’ of experience as a Project Engineer, Program Manager, or in a closely related position in the automotive industry with program/project management.
      • Three (3) years of experience with all of the following: (1) leading cross-functional development project teams; (2)planning and implementation of series project activities and preparing serial project status; (3) standard processes, methods and tools of project management; and (4) relevant SAP modules, PM Tools, and PEP
