You’ll have the opportunity to stretch yourself as you take on projects from start to finish. From design and tender to commissioning and transitioning, your work will ensure a successful collaboration and outcome for everyone involved.
In this role, you'll:
You will be responsible for supporting and coordinating the procurement and contract management of bus service agreements, overseeing project operations, and managing procurement activities. The role will also be required to coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and prepare briefings and documentation associated with the procurement activities. You will manage the procurement activities for a new government contract and coordinate project deliverables, coordinate with project stakeholders and ensure project deliverables are being met.
Key accountabilities of the role include:
• Develop and integrate project management support services including preparation of project briefs, resourcing, communications, engagement and reporting
• Source and collate data and information to support the project documents
• Communicate scheduling with project team and determine project risks and inconsistencies
• Manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management to ensure engagement and ownership throughout the project and support the delivery of the project.
• Develop and deliver regular project reporting

About you
You will have the ability to plan, prioritize and organize work while delivering on tight deadlines, have strong attention to detail, demonstrate drive and commitment, and have effective communication, negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will also need to have:
• Demonstrated experience in providing project management support to procurement processes in commercially complex tenders.
• Knowledge and experience in procurement and bus contracts will be high desirable
This a temporary role for 12 months. The salary for this position Transport Grade 9 ($153,780 -$ 172,232) per annum plus superannuation. This is a hybrid position is based in Sydney CBD
