- Facilitate the business requirements and develop project plans while identifying core dependencies and critical paths.
- Identify risks, document mitigation strategies and implement change management plans.
- Provide project status, timelines, resources and financials for weekly updates and Steering Committees.
- Define project team, establish resource allocation with managers from each discipline, facilitate product purchasing, and establish success criteria.
- Schedule and coordinate tasks for deliverables, resources, and projects.
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with external business partners and internal subject matter experts to produce quality deliverables.
- Ensure prompt escalation of challenges/issues that will impact the business and initiative delivery.
- Coordinate and drive business testing and acceptance of business processes against various projects.
- Coordinate business case development and submissions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) Diploma
- Three (3) years of project management experience with practical knowledge of the Project Management Lifecycle
- Proficient with Microsoft Project, Visio and Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Knowledge of and ability to apply project management techniques, tools and documents
- Sound decision making ability, analytical reasoning and organizational skills with the ability to successfully complete multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage project communications and stakeholder expectations at all levels of the organization
- Possesses highly effective analytical thinking and the ability to gather, understand, integrate, and synthesize complex information in order to develop solutions, make recommendations, or propose action plans
- Financial acumen, moderate return on investment analysis, and ability to structure a business case (or ability to quickly learn said skills)
- Strong teamwork skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Available for overnight travel (up to 30%) based on project need
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Bachelor’s degree
- Project Management Certification (PMP)
- Knowledge of Information Systems and Technical Operations
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in change management and process improvement
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

- Identify safety and/or security concerns, issues, incidents or hazards that should be reported and report them whenever possible and by any means necessary including JetBlue’s confidential reporting systems (Aviation Safety Action Program (ASAP) or Safety Action Report (SAR))
- Responsible for adhering to all applicable laws, regulations (FAA, OSHA, DOT, etc.) and Company policies, procedures and risk controls

- The base pay range for this position is between $75,000 and $118,400. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
Position Summary
The Tech Ops Project Manager manages a portfolio of Tech Ops specific projects through all phases of the project life-cycle. The Project Manager interfaces with product owners, key stakeholders and others to actively lead all aspects of the project. Reporting to the Tech Ops Program Manager, the Project Manager will be driving the successful execution of prioritized projects.
