      Due to growth in the Central and Western US, ECT seeks to hire additional project managers, ideally in Texas, to manage both natural resource and cultural resource-driven projects and programs. Selected candidates will join a dynamic, regional team of ecologists, wetland biologists, species experts, and cultural resource specialists, focused on a variety of environmental topics and opportunities that matter most today.

      Ideal candidates will have a minimum of five years of consulting or related background with 1-3 years successful project management experience including elements of business development, proposal generation, project management, and client service. While travel is not a primary function of the role, regional travel and limited other travel may be expected approximately 25-30 percent of the time.

      Duties & Responsibilities:

      • Proactive task and project management, including relevant communication and engagement with the client, project team, and additional stakeholders.
      • Knowledge of relevant and applicable regulations, permitting requirements, and other compliance aspects.
      • Risk management, including supporting contract review and compliance, as well as subconsultant and vendor agreements.
      • Maintain or exceed revenue and utilization performance metrics, as well as any additional determine goals related to professional development.
      • Meet deliverable schedules, schedule staff for projects and adhere to budgets for client success and expansion.
      • Lead and support project pursuits through proposal development and collaboration.
      • Maintain agency relationships and the ability to represent ECT as a professional expert.
      • Participate in team performance efforts including internal training, quality review, and mentorship.
      • Effective, proactive, and succinct business and technical communication based on setting.
      • Foster an environment emphasizing safety awareness and the safe performance of our work while contributing to a positive, professional environment.

      Education & Experience:

      • Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
      • Five years consulting experience with 1-3 years project management experience.
      • Strong relevant environmental or cultural resource permitting experience desired.
      • Experience leveraging ERP and resource management resources to manage projects.
      • Exceptional verbal and technical writing skills.
      • Experience and ability to complete thorough technical reviews.
