Ensure strong, consistent application of the right Project Leadership Capabilities through effective stakeholder and scope management, team leadership, and management of internal and external dependencies
Demonstrate strong competence in Project Delivery Excellence by establishing and maintaining effective project governance routines, and facilitating and planning meetings and ceremonies to ensure clear, concise and timely communication across project deliverables, including management of project financials and understanding of benefits and business outcomes
Execute effective Schedule Management skills using scheduling and estimating tools to estimate and sequence project tasks, milestones and deliverables in alignment with desired outcomes
Uphold effective Risk & Issue Management by proactively identifying, documenting and managing risks and issues with clear mitigation plans
Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience as a Project Manager/Scrum Master/Product Owner, with knowledge and experience in RBC’s Agile project management frameworks and tools (e.g. Planview, MS Project, Jira, Confluence) and Microsoft Office suite
Strong results based approach, able to work independently as well as exceptional team player
Strong knowledge and application of project risk policy, standards and governance requirements
Agile and growth mindset with strong ability to manage multiple priorities and deal with ambiguity
Strong interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with ability to lead a team to a successful outcome
Strong working knowledge of banking/technology industry
Project Management Professional (PMP)/Certified Scrum Master (CSM)/Certified Product Owner (CSPO) Certification
Undergraduate degree/diploma
