      Position: Project Manager

      Work location: Tucson, AZ

      Wage: $100,630.00 - $130,000.00 / per year*

      Job Duties:

      This individual will be ultimately responsible for the day-to-day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk and business management of a particular project. Management will be of commercial projects within our core markets: healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences and commercial. Project managers will work closely with all members of the project team, project executives and regional leadership teams and will be responsible for the following:

      • (20%) Management of all project team members (senior project engineer, project engineers, superintendents, and field office coordinator).
      • (5%) Mentor, develop and train project engineers for fast-paced growth.
      • (15%) 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.
      • (20%) Cost control/billings/collections/change management/cash flows/monthly status reports.
      • (5%) Key point of contact with owner and architect.
      • (15%) Challenge and support jobsite and self-perform work team.
      • (10%) Accountable for project completion and financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction results.
      • (10%) Coordinate and manage the execution of planning and scheduling of projects.

      Minimum Requirements:

      Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering position in the commercial construction industry.

      Alternate education/experience requirements:

      In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related, and five (5) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate, experience in the job offered or in an engineering position in the commercial construction industry.

      Special Requirements:

      Position requires at least one (1) year of experience in each of the following skills:

      Identifying and resolving complex issues. Creating and supporting team morale. Comprehensive understanding of building processes and systems. Work scope requiring complete understanding of cost estimating, budgeting and forecasting. Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Prolog or similar), accounting cost management software (CMIC or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar).
