We seek an experienced professional who can work independently and collaboratively with a team to manage healthcare projects of varying sizes and lead work efforts of others, oversee the production of project deliverables, and interpret client needs.   In your new role, you will:u00A0

  • Manage team complexity u2013 plans, organizes, and supervises the work of a design staff of approximately 5 to 10+ individualsu202Fu00A0
  • Responsible for accuracy and applicability of documents for entire project(s)u202Fu00A0
  • Build and maintain day-to-day working relationship with client(s) and consultantsu202Fu00A0
  • Lead decision making process with fiscal accountability and responsibilityu202Fu00A0
  • Develop and execute a management work plan for the overall project(s)u202Fu00A0
  • Assist with proposal preparation and participates in client presentations/interviewsu202Fu00A0
  • Responsible for all correspondence, reports, documentation, and general administration for the overall project(s)u202Fu00A0
  • Responsible for execution of project within the boundaries of the design intentu202Fu00A0
  • Apply sound and diversified knowledge of architectural principals for all aspects of the project(s)u202Fu00A0
  • Make independent decisions on architectural problems and methodsu202Fu00A0
  • Solve problems creatively with consultantsu202Fu00A0
  • Negotiate and draft/write contractsu202Fu00A0
  • Assist with business development and collaborate with other studios, as neededu00A0
  • Develop and leverage existing client relationship for the purposes of wining worku00A0
  • Interpret design concepts by collaborating with project team and translate them into workable construction systems and detailing, while maintaining design intent and advocating for design excellence.u00A0
  • Prepare appropriate documentation and deliverables from schematic design through construction administration in accordance with established firm and industry standardu202Fu00A0

  What you will need to succeed:u00A0

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in the architectural fieldu202Fu00A0
  • Bachelor's degree; B Arch or M Arch desiredu202Fu00A0
  • Architectural licensure is requiredu202Fu00A0
  • LEED Accreditationu202For within 18 months of hireu202Fu00A0
  • Must have a proven track record as a Project Architect / Project Manager with complex healthcare projects involving work that ranges from Pre-design through Construction Administration, including contract negotiation, work plan development and the ability to work with a variety of project delivery methodologiesu202Fu00A0
  • Excellent leadership, verbal and communication skills, and effective client relationship skills and talent for leading and working with diverse teams of designersu202Fu00A0
  • Knowledge of Revit and BIM delivery implicationsu202Fu00A0
  • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign,u202FSketchup, Rhino or 3DS Max desiredu202Fu00A0
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects with competing deadlinesu202Fu00A0
  • Ability to work in a collaborative, design focused open environmentu202Fu00A0
