- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering, Accounting, or Business Administration with an emphasis in project management, budget management, or related field; or an equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience
- 0-5 years or more experience required.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of project management practices and concepts.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge in creating or interpreting project estimates and budgets.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge in creating or interpreting project scope documentation.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge in creating or interpreting project schedules.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge in creating or interpreting project RAID Log & Analysis.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of PC hardware and Microsoft applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point, and MS Teams.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of MS Project or any other software tool used to create schedules and track tasks.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge of power systems within the context of electric utilities.
- Demonstrates basic knowledge in reading construction plans, electrical diagrams/schematics, and/or civil/mechanical drawings.
- Ability to create documentation of developed applications and internal processes/procedures and develop training materials as required.
- Ability to maintain effective working relationships with officers, managers, fellow employees, and the public.
- Ability to maintain a strong sense of propriety concerning confidential matters.
- Ability to quickly acquire new skill sets.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Oversees the status of in-flight projects and accountable for their successful completion / closure.
- Accountable and responsible for developing and maintaining a risk register for each parent and child project. Including providing support to Energy Delivery when identifying risks, evaluating potential solutions, and monitoring their successful execution.
- Accountable and responsible for monitoring project schedules against the baseline and reporting of TSR projects. Tracks the following: project delays, proposed solutions, and executed proposed solutions.
- Accountable and responsible for stakeholder engagement and holding consistent well-defined project status meetings at defined intervals with key stakeholders to review project milestones, key deliverables, high risk and past due items, and next steps. Each milestone and/or deliverable should have a defined owner who is also responsible for reporting the status utilizing metrics that are visible to all.
- Accountable and responsible for creating and maintaining a project organizational chart.
- Consults with appropriate stakeholders to identify the construction permits and regulatory reports.
- Accountable for the acquisition of the identified civil construction permits, with support from the Design function developing the design drawings required.
- Accountable and responsible for developing regulatory reports and providing these reports to EPE’s legal function to file them. The Project Management function offers support to EPE legal should questions or concerns arise. Also, supports the Regulatory Resource Strategy function with the preparation of segments of regulatory reports.
- Accountable and responsible for approving payment to contractors and monitoring invoices.
- Regarding EPC projects, consults with TSR Design for selecting the EPC contractor, issuing the project contract, ensuring EPC contractors are following EPE’s design standards, and delivering the drawing package in an as-ready state.
- Valid driver’s license and comply with the Company’s Driving Program policy.
- Responsible for ensuring the enforcement of and compliance with all applicable Company policies, procedures, and code of ethics, as well as all applicable governmental laws and regulations to include employment, safety and environmental standards and regulations
- Perform other related tasks that are not included, but are within the context of the duties defined.

STARTING SALARY: $68,700 - $122,500 Salary is commensurate with experience.
JOB FAMILY SUMMARY PURPOSE:
Under the direction of the Manager of Planning & Project Management, will work with the Substation, Transmission and P&C engineering and field departments applying best project management and finance practices to successfully execute projects. Also, special tasks to support the planning and project management groups will be assigned as needed.
