Job Description

- Create, maintain, and progress the project schedules whilst overseeing internal and external progress reporting
- Gather actual data, update project schedules, and develop accurate schedule forecasts
- Evaluate and identify risks and issues compromising project schedules and develop plans to mitigate them
- Deliver line of sight for the Project Managers (incl. interdependencies/impact, critical paths, S-curves etc.)
- Drive, facilitate and document planning sessions independently
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and escalate when necessary.
- Organise and participate in weekly and monthly project reviews, planning and performance, hand-over and kick-off meetings
- Support in the documenting and formalizing best practices ensuring an aligned and coherent process framework across the functions
- Degree in a relevant field such as project management, business, engineering, construction management, or a related discipline
- At least one year of experience in a position related to Planning, Coordination, Controlling or similar
- Value Chain Understanding
- IT knowledge mainly in Excel (Primavera or MS Project)
- Great oral and written communication skills in English
- Analytical and systematic approach – ability to analyse data
- Contractual and commercial business understanding and information/data analysis
- You can communicate upwards, outwards, and downwards in an open, direct, and honest way to ensure full transparency and alignment
- Good interpersonal skills to deal with a broad range of stakeholders with different backgrounds
- Problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise during project planning and execution
- Capacity to prioritise tasks among multiple projects and adjust workload accordingly
- You take joint responsibility for our project team's performance, responsibility for your decisions and speak up when facing challenges and issues
- A keen eye for detail to ensure nothing is overlooked, whilst maintaining the high-level overview
- A curious mindset, to learn and develop your understanding of wind turbine construction, subcontractor management, and the value chain
- You approach our projects with curiosity and execute diligently, actively, and passionately with focus on cooperation, stakeholder management and "what is best for Vestas"

Department
The Construction Department oversees all wind farm projects from start to completion. The team takes responsibility for a wind farm once a contract has been signed and remains responsible until the final tests are completed. This includes the standard installation, commissioning, and final handover of the wind farms to our customers.
Working closely together with the customer, suppliers and other stakeholders is a key parameter to ensure to keep the project on budget and schedule.Responsibilities
In this role the Project Planner will provide project planning, reporting and analysis support to the Project Management teams. Your expertise will be required to provide alternative scenario to the Project Manager to stick to contractual schedule or propose solution to mitigate delays, if any.Qualifications
