Job Description

- Support Order entry for all projects
- Support Billing Reconciliation and Controllership
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
- Organize and participate in meetings with management to determine the priority of opportunities.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed
- Work closely with Commercial Operations and other functions to ensure contract, billing, and other account management functions meet contractual requirements.
- Support the Belden accounting department to ensure compliance.
- Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings.
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
- Prepare necessary presentation materials for meetings.
- Determine project changes, as necessary, and review with all stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Ensure projects adhere to PMO framework and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
- Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
- Performs other duties, as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field of study.
- At least 3-5 years related experience and/or training in project management.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines.
- Able to work in ambiguous environments
- Adherence to timelines, schedules and deliverables is a critical proficiency
- Ability to lead client review discussions
- Proven analytical skills, with the ability to approach problems logically and systematically
- Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience using Smartsheet preferred.
- Knowledge of project estimates, schedules, budgets, and forecasting
- Flexibility to work various schedules and focus on project completion
- Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment

Job Summary:
Do you enjoy being at the epicenter of a project? Are you an expert multi-tasker who can juggle tasks while staying focused enough to execute like a pro? You will become a critical part of our PMO as a Project Specialist. You will be in charge of tasks involved with a project, supporting order entry, scheduling, budgeting, invoicing, organizing with other cross-functional teams, and handling communication between the customer and internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for monitoring the overall progress of the project and tracking internal teams and external vendors progress and timeline. We are looking for someone who can schedule a regular cadence for communication internally for the PMO, as well as with customers, both remote and onsite as needed. You will prepare the agenda for internal and external meetings, capture notes and action items and ensure all parties follow up as required for a successful project launch and implementation. You will coordinate with vendors and internal teams for flawless execution on projects, ensuring budgetary requirements are met, and projects are delivered on time. Other tasks will arise as needed, and you’ll not only enjoy taking them on, but create processes to drive consistency within our business in case we see them again.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $97,500 - $146,250 plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
