      POSITION OVERVIEW

      As a Project Support Specialist with Mid Penn Bank, you will have the opportunity to explore a career path that matches your interests while gaining valuable insight into the world of financial services in areas such as Retail Banking, Operations, Credit, Information Technology, and Marketing to name just a few.

      WHAT TO EXPECT:

      • On-the-job training with a department that has a need, where you will develop skills and gain valuable work experience.
      • Participate in a series of lunch and learn sessions where you are introduced to senior leaders from across the organization.
      • Collaborate with a talented and supportive team of professionals who are committed to helping you develop and grow.
      • Meet with and collaborate with other interns from across the organization.
      • Participate in our Mentorship Program.
      • Volunteer in company sponsored events.
      • Receive classroom learning and education & development opportunities with our Mid Penn University team.


      EDUCATION:

      • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
      • Would also consider High School Senior Co-Op students.


      SKILLS:

      Proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; a thorough knowledge of the features and benefits of all bank products and services; a working knowledge of bank operating policies and procedures which impact bank services; moderate PC skills; ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach with hands or arms, use hands to manipulate objects, handle or feel, and lift items weighing 75 lbs. or less; visual, auditory and speaking skills.
