      Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Propane Driver, Bulk on a seasonal basis at our Propane Branch in Swift Current, Saskatchewan offering $23.66 - $30.44 an hour.

      What you’ll do:

      You will be required to schedule and carry out propane deliveries in agricultural, commercial and domestic markets in a safe, timely and efficient manner while providing exceptional customer service. Overtime and weekend shift work will be required to service customers’ needs including participating in an On-Call program.

      • You will promote the sale and use of Co-op propane and provide customer service to all retail personnel, customers, and co-workers in a helpful and respectful manner, and refer any concerns to the supervisor for action.
      • You will conduct and maintain the highest standard of safety in all activities and operations ensuring compliance with standard work procedures, policies, rules and relevant regulations. This includes conducting and, if applicable documenting site inspections and visual tank inspections.
      • You will become familiar with the operation of the computer system used to manage customer accounts and carry out administrative responsibilities as required.
      • You will complete required Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) for delivery or crane unit prior to leaving branch facility, identifying and logging defects found and reporting any major defects to supervisor.
      • You will ensure all necessary preventative maintenance procedures are carried out on company vehicles and equipment and perform minor repairs as required.
      • You will observe and assess potential hazards involving customer tank installations and report concerns to the supervisor.
      • You will consistently adhere to all standard work procedures, policies, rules, regulations and guidelines to safely operate commercial vehicles as per Transport Canada requirements.
      • You will, under the direct supervision of a qualified service technician, assist in completing installations and service work on propane equipment (may work unsupervised on service work that does not require a gas licence to complete).

      Who you are:

      You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:

      • You have a Grade 12 education.
      • You have a Class 3A or 1A license, a clean drivers abstract.
      • You have a minimum of 1-year commercial driving experience is required. Prior experience delivering propane or fuel is considered an asset.
      • You must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and participate in an on-call program implemented by the supervisor to adequately service customer needs as required.
      • You must be be in good health and be physically fit to perform all duties and responsibilities.
      • You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
      • You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
      • You believe that safety is a top priority and put it at the forefront of everything you do.
