      Property and Facilities Manager

      Job Description Summary

      We are looking for a Property Manager to work within one of our client accounts, working between Facilities Management and Estates Management.

      In this role you will be required to provide professional advice and services across a large client account, on both the Property and Facilities Management side.

      Job Description

      Core Responsibilities:

      • Ownership and delivery of all property management issues from initial incident to closure. Driving performance from other teams – both internal and external
      • Dedicated SME role for both FM and Estates
      • Responsible for operational delivery of FM services across VM’s estate within the role, including contract management of preferred suppliers and sub-contractors as well as carrying out building checks, inspections and supplier audits as required.
      • Management of services within defined cost budgets and performance levels
      • Manage and maintain communication with key business stakeholders, updating the client as required on specific matters
      • Work closely with the wider account team to ensure end to end delivery
      • Ensure delivery against client KPI targets
      • Work closely with clients in house and panel legal advisors to resolve disputes and deliver legal documentation
      • Proactive in suggesting improvements and delivering insight
      • Help identify revenue opportunities for both the account team (fee share) and other service lines within C&W
      • Manage database accuracy in core portfolio management platform (Yardi) as required
      • Sign off and governance for all PO & invoice approvals – as required
      • Contribute to reporting submissions for the team - as required
      • Project support for the account team as required
      • Identify opportunities for improvement in processes

      Knowledge & Experience:

      • Degree level qualification or equivalent industry experience
      • RICS / IWFM qualified or equivalent experience
      • Commercial acumen, negotiation skills and understanding of property dynamics
      • Understanding of business development and client relationship management
      • Ability to network and build relationships internally and externally
      • Good knowledge and understanding of property and ideally experience in dealing with management issues across service lines
      • Good level of computer literacy including Excel, Word and Outlook
      • An understanding of property related finance and accounting
      • Ability to think on feet, use initiative and work as part of a team
      • High level of organisation skills and ability to prioritise work
