In the Land Advisory team, we’re proud of our supportive team environment, where we provide high quality land and property services including technical advice and expertise to secure, protect and enhance an open space network that is valued and enjoyed.
We have an exciting opportunity to join us and take on a role that provides strategic leadership, oversight, guidance and specialist technical advice and services, at an expert level, in relation to the assessment of acquisition and disposal of land. The key focus of the role is leading and undertaking the strategic assessments for property and park acquisitions and disposals against council policies and service outcomes. You’ll help manage council’s acquisition and disposals portfolio while influencing land and property decisions for the benefit of Auckland.
He kōrero mōu: About you
You’ll have negotiation, property and prioritization skills, a proven law, land, policy or property background as well as a working knowledge of relevant legislation. You’ll also be able to interpret and apply legislation, manage an active portfolio of property acquisitions, and provide quality advice on current and historical acquisitions and disposals.
To be considered for this role, along with experience in property acquisition and disposals you must also have a relevant tertiary qualification (in Land, Property or Law), experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project) and high level report writing and presentation skills. SAP and SharePoint experience would be highly desirable and political report writing skills an advantage.
