- Manage property control activities to ensure continuous accountability of government and company property in accordance with governing regulations and policies.
- Perform quality control checks of purchasing and property records to ensure required data fields are accurate and complete and that supporting documentation has been recorded and uploaded to Government enterprise systems.
- Plan and conduct internal audits and support corporate and Government property audits.
- Purchase materials and supplies required for program execution via P-card; complete all required documentation for audit purposes.
- Prepare all requests, DRMO/S turn-ins and hand receipt transfers in accordance with governing regulations and corporate policies.
- Order tracking and status updates: Maintain a comprehensive tracking system to monitor the progress of each order from placement to receipt. Regularly update the status of orders using SharePoint, our designated data storage and reporting tool.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and distribute regular reports on order status, including metrics such as order volume, fulfillment rates, delivery timelines, and any exceptional events impacting delivery. Maintain detailed records of orders, shipping documents, and other relevant documentation.
- Perform shipping tasks from CONUS to OCONUS and between OCONUS locations. Collaborate with the company-owned warehouse and transportation services (both commercial and company-owned) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery. Coordinate logistics, address any shipping issues or delays, and proactively communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline the order management process, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. Propose and implement process enhancements and best practices to optimize the end-to-end order fulfillment workflow.
- Customer Support: Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external customers regarding order inquiries, status updates, and general assistance. Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing any concerns and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
- TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
- Requires a High School diploma and 3-5 years of prior relevant experience,
- Prior experience managing government property using a compliant inventory system (SAP) or HelpNow.
- Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills.
- Prior experience with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) audits.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
- Experience with property management functions to include record maintenance, accountability, storage, and disposal functions.
- Demonstrated success in supply/inventory management-program functions including, but not limited to, determination of requirements, distribution and redistribution of items, supply fund management, procurement authorization, disposition of excess property, reconciliation of inventory balances with physical counts and other supply functions.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, including (but not limited to) Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
- Effective communication skills with all levels of staff, both internal to Leidos and external (military/government customer, etc.).
- Familiarity with COTS IT hardware, supply chain processes, and global logistics is advantageous.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent decision making and sound judgment with strong attention to detail.
- Specialized certificate in US Government property management, logistics, and HAZMAT certification preferred.
- Prior property control experience in support of the U.S. military or DoD contractor is a plus.
- Previous experience with local mission domains and customer base is highly desired.
- Continuous service improvement or process improvement experience.
The National Solutions Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Property Controller to support a client’s requirements in a challenging, dynamic setting located in Aurora, Colorado. The position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. The Property Controller will be responsible to track, maintain and analyze all data relevant to government-furnished property (GFE) and Leidos owned property, including (but not limited to) equipment tracking, receipt and shipments, location tracking, vendor details, maintenance data, warranty data. The Property Controller will work in a highly collaborative environment with teammates, key stakeholders and the Government customer to ensure mission continuity and support to the IC community.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $39,650.00 - $61,000.00 - $82,350.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
