What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Evaluate insurance policies and claims to determine coverage and manage case load
- Conduct thorough investigations and gather necessary documentation to assess liability
- Communicate with claimants and witnesses to gather information
- Prepare reports of findings and negotiate claim settlements according to carrier instructions
- Utilize technology for efficient claim handling and manage claims exceeding $15,000 for approval
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Must obtain IIA-AIC designation within 12 to 18 months in the role
- Minimum of three (3) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong communication, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
