What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct property and inland marine claims investigations
- Estimate property damages and establish appropriate reserves
- Handle multiple losses per day requiring car travel
- Serve as initial responder for catastrophic claim events
- Provide support and guidance to regional CMS team

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ability to travel as needed
- Proficiency in standard business and claim-specific computer software programs
- College degree preferred
- 5 years of property claims experience
- Maintenance of appropriate Claims Adjuster Licenses per state requirements

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Experience with computer-based damage estimating
- Certification(s) identified as acceptable in Selective’s Claims Certification Policy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong team player
