Job Description

Estimate damage, analyze and control estimates or quotes from suppliers, and recommend repair strategies to optimize interventions in accordance with the organization’s quality standards and procedures
Support experts and respond to their queries regarding the nature of damage incurred, and make the necessary recommendations to settle claims
Control, verify and follow up on files that required corrections in order to assess the quality of suppliers’ work and propose actions to be taken.
Workplace: Position located in Mississauga or Aurora, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is full-time telework #LI-Remote
Temporary work: scheduled to end on January 11, 2025

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Experience with post-loss imaging files
For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required.
Knowledge of Xactimate
Knowledge of French for the candidates from Ontario (an asset)
Independent speaker, upper intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients from Quebec. (an asset)

NV-08 As a property appraiser –imaging, you will prepare estimates, as well as evaluate estimates received from contractors for claims settlements.
You estimate damages and ensure that quotes from independent experts comply with the organization’s standards and processes.
