  Job Title: Property Maintenance

  Reports to: Property Manager, Owner

  
  

  Job Summary:

  In this role, you would handle a number of different tasks that will vary day to day. This will range from being a parts runner, maintaining the grounds and buildings at Rueter’s locations, as directed by the owner of the company, and working on different projects with the owner’s commercial properties. It is year-round with potential for overtime. Pay range depends on skills.

  
  

  Essential Duties:

  1. Parts runner to pick up parts where needed by the Elkhart location

  2. Yard work such as mowing, planting, trimming, replacement of shrubs etc.

  3. Clean up where needed for commercial properties

  4. Hauling away debris where needed

  5. Minor carpenter work, including painting

  6. Help out shop where needed

  7. Help out on golf course maintenance

  8. Operating machine to help with dirt work

  9. There may be other duties as assigned by management.

  5. Some knowledge of yard maintenance and carpentry skills

  6. Ability to operate equipment

  7. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  
  

  Supervisory Responsibility:

  You would not be supervising other employees in this role.

  
  

  Work Environment:

  You would be operating in both a field and shop environment. You will have exposure to varied weather conditions.

  
  

  Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

  This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are typically Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with some evenings and weekends as necessary.

  
  

  Travel:

  This position will be primarily traveling near the Elkhart location, including the metro area of Des Moines and Grand Junction.
