What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary liaison with tenants on landlord-tenant issues
- Manage move-in/move-out processes and maintain tenant rolls
- Oversee annual certifications, lease addendums, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with case managers on unit occupancy status and tenant requests
- Prepare and send tenant correspondence, including newsletters and notices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5 years of property/tenant management experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or equivalent education
- High attention to detail with strong multitasking abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with diverse populations in a housing context
- Familiarity with HUD management and occupancy reviews
- Knowledge of compliance regulations related to housing programs
