  Are you curious about the world of corporate insurance and eager to gain hands-on experience in underwriting? Join our Property Underwriting team in Milan and take your first steps into the insurance industry.

  About the Role

  As an intern, you’ll support our underwriters on a Property project, helping assess risks and structure insurance programmes for corporate clients and their brokers in the Italian market.
  

  You’ll contribute to:

  • Analysing and assessing Property submissions, including exposures and coverages.
  • Supporting underwriting for both new and existing clients.
  • Preparing quotations and structuring insurance programmes.
  • Collaborating on strategies to grow our client base and cross-sell other lines of business.
  • Enhancing our offering to meet evolving market needs.

  About the Team

  You’ll be part of a dynamic and experienced local team based in Milan, working closely with underwriters, EMEA Operations teams (both centralized and offshore), and peers across other EMEA locations. Our team brings together a variety of skills and perspectives, all committed to delivering success for Swiss Re Corporate Solutions.

  About You

  We’re looking for an open-minded, trustworthy, and a collaborative team player who is comfortable when engaging in constructive discussions. We are looking forward to your application if you've just recently graduated or are graduating with a degree in Engineering or Business Administration and you bring:

  • Proficiency in Italian and English language, both written and spoken.
  • Strong skills in managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Significant experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office 80% of the week. #LI-Hybrid
