- Utilize computational tools and first-principles calculations to design propulsion components and systems.
- Prototype, troubleshoot, and test propulsion hardware to validate performance and reliability.
- Qualify propulsion hardware to meet mission environmental requirements.
- Draft and execute build and test procedures, ensuring successful test campaigns.
- Participate in design, test readiness, and flight readiness reviews with a focus on technical excellence.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of experience designing and testing thrusters or thermo-fluidic systems in challenging environments.
- Strong understanding of fluid mechanics and thermodynamics.
- Experience managing analysis feedback and incorporating it into designs.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and project needs.
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality technical solutions.
- Hands-on experience with full test campaigns of propulsion systems.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Siemens NX).
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
- Experience with electric propulsion systems and related technologies.
- Knowledge of water electrochemistry or similar propulsion innovations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
Propulsion Engineer
We are looking for a Propulsion Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design, development, and testing of advanced propulsion systems for aerospace applications. In this role, you will work on the end-to-end development of propulsion components, including thrusters, propellant management systems, and thermal control systems. This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping propulsion architecture and enabling efficient transportation solutions for challenging aerospace missions.
