      Lockheed Martin is looking for a senior level Propulsion Engineer to continue our 75 year tradition of developing new air-vehicle systems. This position will support the Propulsion competency. Responsibilities may involve advanced weapons system integration, installed propulsion performance, propulsion system modeling and propulsion system installation. The candidate will expect to be working extensively with other Aeronautics engineering disciplines and propulsion system companies. Travel in support of the program efforts may also be required. Good communication skills and strong interpersonal and presentation skills are highly desirable. Specific experience with propulsion integration, derivative development programs, or support of legacy aircraft programs is highly desirable.

      Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires a DoD security clearance.

      This position will be located in Marietta, GA

      Engineering Aeronautics -- Bachelor or Masters degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or equivalent Engineering discipline

      -- Experience with production Engineering support -- Prior experience working Propulsion-related sustainment activities of in-service (legacy) aircraft

      -- Experience with Engineering drawing release process.

      -- Prior experience with Catia V5 or CADData Net

      -- Experience with component and system-level qualification testing.

      -- Experience addressing Engineering Change Notices (ECN)
