In our Office of General Counsel, you’ll be part of an organization that collaborates with outside counsel to operate as a global team and deliver world-class legal, tax and audit services to client groups throughout the company.

      The Protective Intelligence Analyst plays an important role in Global Security's mission to provide a safe and secure environment to Ford employees, facilities, and visitors. The Protective Intelligence Analyst will monitor, identify, and analyze a range of security concerns and threats (including but not limited to crime, terrorism, geopolitical concerns, natural disasters) to produce both tactical and strategic intelligence products to increase awareness and help inform decision making. The Protective Intelligence Analyst will have strong investigative, analytic, and writing skills and will be a key member in cross-functional working groups, collaborating with investigations, executive protection, global policy, travel, and other security and non-security teams.

      Qualifications

      You'll have...

      • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
      • One or more years of experience working in intelligence, crisis management, or security-related disciplines.

      • Strong personal initiative, with ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver solutions under minimal guidance.
      • Excellent attention to detail.
      • Ability to communicate effectively in crisis situations.

      • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; accurate typing skills.
      • Outstanding open-source research skills.
      • Effective time management and problem-solving skills.

      Responsibilities

      What you'll do...

      • Monitor global events through designated tools, open-source information, media, and vendor-provided resources that could impact Ford Motor Company global operations.
      • Research and analyze events to determine potential impact to Ford Motor Company personnel, facilities, product, or brand. Create written intelligence products and conduct verbal briefings. Identify and track incidents to resolution.
      • Triage and escalate cases of workplace violence and investigations to relevant security teams.
      • Monitor and administer travel security operations, including tracking, assisting, and advising international travelers on security issues across the world.
      • Monitor and support site and regional events, gathering and providing intelligence and information as required.
      • Conduct proactive research into potential risks to the company; monitor external media feeds for threats to the company’s facilities and/or leadership.
      • Support company crisis management and business continuity initiatives, projects and presentations.
      • Monitor and respond to vehicle tracking requests from law enforcement and internal customers within Ford Motor Company.
