      R&D Support Specialist for Sustainable Heat and Power Technology

      Pay:

      $30/hr-$48/hr depending on experience.

      Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

      Location: Bellevue, WA

      Job Description

      We are seeking a skilled R&D Support Specialist to advance our sustainable heat and power technology through the development of prototype converters and

      hydrogen reactors. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and precision engineering.

      Responsibilities

      • Support R&D efforts by contributing to the development of prototype converters and hydrogen reactors.
      • Utilize CNC lathe, CNC mill, and micrometer tools for precise machining tasks.
      • Make adjustments and measurements to ensure prototypes meet exact tolerances of .001 or .002.
      • Collaborate with machinists, welders, and technicians in a small, dynamic machine shop.

      Essential Skills

      • Experience in Research and Development.
      • Proficiency in prototype machining.
      • Ability to perform precise measurements and adjustments.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Experience with exotic metals such as nickel, copper, and superalloy/refractory metals.
      • Familiarity with ProtoTrack technology and milling.
      • Proficiency in Autodesk Fusion and Autodesk AutoCAD.
      • Knowledge of 5-axis machining and 3 + 2 machining techniques.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $48.00/hr.
