      Job Summary:
      The Prototype Project Manager II will oversee the project team, administrative activities of a project, the planning process and achieving customer expectations. The role will monitor the implementation and timing of project deliverables, assign responsibilities, and work to keep projects on schedule, within stated budgets, and functioning smoothly. The Prototype Project Manager II will provide direction and guidance to the team. This position is based in Allen Park, MI.

      As a Prototype Project Manager II, you will:

      • Manage, train, coach, and mentor team related to their job responsibilities.
      • Direct and manage coordination groups that assign goals for subcontractors.
      • Plan, schedule, and oversee coordinator activities and monitor project status.
      • Develop and execute large project plans.
      • Complete milestones on time, on budget and with quality.
      • Collect data from customers, suppliers, Bill of Material, and other resources to compile presentations and reports.
      • Manage day-to-day build operations supporting department management.
      • Review project status daily and report percentage of completion.
      • Manage the execution of continuous quality improvement activities.
      To be considered as a Prototype Project Manager II, you will need:
      • High School diploma or equivalent
      • Minimum of 7 years of project coordination experience
      • Experience mentoring and leading others
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, very detail oriented and effectively host presentations
      • Great customer service, reliable attendance, and ability to work overtime
      • Advanced MS Office skills, specifically with Excel (macros, pivot tables and formulas), Word, and PowerPoint
      • Ability to lead and work with different cross functional teams and have excellent organizational skills
      • Good ability to interpret customer requests and deliverables
      A successful candidate may also have:
      • Associates degree in Business or related field
      • Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
