      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Perform desk reviews and audits of annual Medicare cost reports for various provider types, including complex facilities
      - Analyze cost reports for accuracy and compliance with CMS regulations
      - Mentor and train junior auditors, providing constructive feedback and guidance
      - Establish and maintain constructive relationships with healthcare providers
      - Lead special projects related to complex payment methodologies and ensure timely implementation of CMS requirements

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in auditing, accounting, analytics, or finance
      - Minimum of 2 years of Medicare cost report auditing experience
      - Proven experience with Uniform Desk Reviews (UDRs) and audits for large or complex hospitals
      - Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior staff
      - Excellent oral and written communication skills

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - 2 to 3 years of experience specifically in Medicare cost report auditing
      - Experience with reviews of Nursing & Allied Health Education (NAHE) and Organ Acquisition costs
      - MBA or CPA designation
