What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead and manage negotiations for provider-specific institutional, ancillary, and professional contracts
- Analyze financial data and evaluate implications across various business lines to ensure compliance with company policies
- Develop and maintain relationships with contracted healthcare providers across various specialties
- Monitor regulatory trends and ensure contracts comply with applicable state and federal regulations
- Coordinate administrative tasks related to provider contracts and validate agreements for accuracy
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, Public Health, Finance, or a related field, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare, business, or a related field
- At least 1 year of experience in contracting, provider recruitment, or provider relations
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Proficient with financial analysis/modeling and Microsoft Office 365
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in Business or Healthcare Administration
- Knowledge of the healthcare or health insurance payer industry, including regulatory requirements
- Solid understanding of CPT-4, HCPCS, revenue, and ICD coding, along with contract negotiations
- Effective time and project management skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
