What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Enroll and validate practitioners with government and commercial payers
- Coordinate workflow for verification of application documents and provider changes
- Process applications promptly in accordance with organizational policies
- Maintain communication with practitioners and department management
- Prepare materials for external audits by payers and governmental agencies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma
- Five (5) years of experience as a credentialing specialist in a hospital setting
- Must perform the professional and technical competencies of the assigned unit
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate Degree
- CPCS and CPMSM certification preferred
