What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensures enrollment is submitted to third party payers within defined time frame
- Performs various clerical functions related to the credentialing process
- Knowledge of insurance payer market as it relates to the Memphis area
- Skill and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience in an office setting
- Knowledge of medical and professional credentialing processes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in provider credentialing with healthcare plans
- Two years of college or business training from an accredited school in lieu of one (1) year of experience
