- Having healthcare provider or related consulting experience preferred;
- Understanding of healthcare provider industry operations, terminology, payment systems and environment;
- Using the latest data analytics techniques on varied big-data to answer the deal-related problems of some of the largest US health systems and medical groups
- Extracting industry and business-specific insights using custom workflows, databases and procedures to advance engagements;
- Helping convey insights and solutions by building dynamic visualizations using the latest industry tool;
- Researching business and data nuances relevant to a client's industry to support analytics projects;
- Translating analytical findings into impactful and cutting-edge recommendations to a client's C-suite;
- Supporting a multi-disciplinary analytics team with a specialization in machine learning, data science, advanced analytics and design;
- Benchmarking to compare healthcare provider physician practice performance and costs to leading practice, including operational results, productivity, and quality metrics;
- Coursework or demonstrated understanding of programming, financial modeling, operational modeling, or data science strongly preferred;
- Possessing knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, formulas, macros and external data connections); and,
- Possessing experience with common business and data tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, PowerBI, SQL, R, Python, Azure, AWS, Databricks, Google Tools, Alteryx, Tableau, and/or RPA (UI Path, Blue Prism) preferred.
- Supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation;
- Answering questions and providing direction to less experienced staff;
- Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback; and,
- Developing, writing, presenting and facilitating discussions on strategy to all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management.
