Overview
This position is accountable to administer and score various psychological and cognitive tests given to adolescents, adults and geriatric patients under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
Responsibilities
Test Administration and Scoring: Effectively administers and accurately scores various psychological and cognitive tests related to intellectual ability, academic proficiency, and neurocognitive functioning and psychological status under the supervision of a licensed psychologist. Communicates all appropriate findings to supervising psychologist.--------------------------------------------------Department Objectives: Collaborates with co-workers/works as effective team member to accomplish department/ program objectives. Completes day-to-day work in a manner to support achievement of department objectives.--------------------------------------------------Personal Accountability: Completes work in a manner to enhance patient satisfaction. Completes other paperwork as required by department/ venue in a timely manner. Reviews literature and uses current research findings to improve and promoted continual development of personal and team knowledge. Maintains personal productivity at target. If productivity does not meet target, initiates and follows through on problem solving with supervisor to increase productivity. Frequently and consistently adjusts schedule according to meet department needs. Accepts responsibility for the completion of assigned tasks. Keeps appropriate persons informed if problems will prevent timely completion of tasks. Demonstrates appropriate use of universal precautions and personal protective equipment. Qualifications
EDUCATION:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in psychology, education or related field that includes course and training in psychological test administration required.
EXPERIENCE:Experience in the administration of common psychological tests such as the Wechsler Scales is required. Knowledge of neuropsychological assessment is preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:REQUIREDBLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider PREFERRED
