- Establishing necessary clinical rapport with clients
- Assist with facilitation of scheduling client intakes and testing
- Standardized administration and accurate scoring of psychological and cognitive assessments
- Experience administering and scoring neuropsychological tests including but not limited to WAIS-IV, WMS-IV, CVLT-3, RCFT, WCST, etc.
- Managing behaviours that may affect test performance
- Data entry and management of assessment results
- Assist with the development of client reports and consult letters
- Where applicable, participating in case collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Performing cross-functional duties, as assigned or requested
- Performing other duties consistent with the job classification, as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Psychology or related field
- A minimum of one year of experience administering and scoring psychological and cognitive tests and batteries is essential
- Understanding of psychometrics, psychological measurement, and introductory statistics
- Ability to demonstrate their competency to administer a range of neuropsychological assessment tools
Strong observational and analytic skills and attention to detail - Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient oral and written communication
- Previous experience working in a third party funded environment preferred
- Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team and working with potentially cognitively impaired clients
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a busy environment
- Experience and comfortable using MS Office suite products (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to communicate complex technical information in a manner easily understood by non-technical personnel
- Knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control
- Knowledge of scientific research principles, practices, and protocols preferred

Position Summary
SPARC, the Schroeder Pain Assessment and Rehabilitation Research Centre, is a clinical-research interdisciplinary program that investigates, assesses and treats chronic pain and musculoskeletal disorders. SPARC is looking for an experienced Psychometrist to join this interdisciplinary team. Under the supervision of a Psychologist, the successful candidate would be responsible for assisting with the facilitation of adult client intakes, conducting psychological and cognitive testing, administering and scoring assessment results, providing behavioural observations, and assisting with the development of client reports and consult letters. The Psychometrist will work with adult clients.
