      What will I be doing?

      As a Restaurant Host/Hostess, you would be responsible for welcoming guests and escorting them to their seats for dining in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

      § Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.

      § Manage reservations and waitlist using OpenTable or designated system.

      § Maintain accurate seating chart to balance server sections.

      § Escort guests to tables and present menus promptly.

      § Update OpenTable in real time for walk-ins, no-shows, and table status.

      § Communicate with service team to ensure smooth table turns and guest flow.

      § Answer phones and reservations, hours, and menus.

      § Monitor lobby and guest wait times, keeping guests informed.

      § Complete opening/closing side work, including menus and podium setup.

      § Maintain cleanliness of host stand and entry area; handle guest concerns or special requests professionally.

      What are we looking for?

      We are seeking a professional host/hostess who is excited to be part of the Che Vita opening team. The ideal candidate is warm, polished, and proactive, with a welcoming presence and a “make it happen” attitude.

      Candidates should have 1–2 years of experience in a host or front desk role, ideally in an upscale or Italian restaurant setting. Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation platforms is preferred. A strong sense of hospitality, attention to detail, and the ability to manage flow during busy service are essential — helping to create seamless and memorable Che Vita Experiences from the moment our guests walk through the door.
