Craft strategic guidance for designated projects by gathering insights from program, product, and service sectors spanning all states. Engage actively with internal teams focused on public affairs, programs, and products to enhance public outreach and media efforts.
Build and maintain relationships with traffic safety organizations and State Departments of Transportation and Public Safety.
Monitor legislation within the territory and collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs Specialist.
Organize special events focused on traffic safety priorities throughout the Auto Club of Missouri territory.
Supervise the creation of brochures, advisory board booklets, and corporate advertising materials, and design flyers.
Assist in the creation of exhibits and other community initiatives, including research, writing, and collection assessments. Speaking in public and professional forums to promote the Club’s history of motorist advocacy.
BA in Communication or Public Relations preferred.
Prior experience in corporate communications, public relations, grassroots organizing or advocacy efforts. Previous work with AAA is an advantage.
Advanced written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), graphic design skills, and proficiency in Tableau.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality service and meet productivity standards.
Ability to travel throughout Missouri, Illinois, Arkansas.
Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Proof of auto insurance required at the time of hire.
