- Req#: 99795
- Assess training and technical assistance needs for CAMHC programs across Ohio.
- Ensure compliance with agency fiscal and programmatic requirements.
- Monitors and evaluates CAMHC programs through the review or computerized reports and other data, professional literature, and field site visits to make program recommendations.
- Collaborate with state and local agencies to ensure the coordination of pediatric mental health services.
- Assist program manager in the development of program standards, guidelines, policies, and technical assistance materials related to child and adolescent mental health services.
- Reviews applications for CAMHC solicitations to determine appropriateness for funding.

- Graduate or advanced degree in public health, health care or health administration
- Coursework in one of the following: public health, health education, mental health, education/early childhood education
- Experience working with the adolescent health population
- Experience facilitating or coordinating meetings and/or trainings
- Experience facilitating a committee or coalition
- Experience developing and presenting training or public speaking
- Experience providing technical assistance or consultation
- Experience in monitoring/administering grants or contracts

What You'll Do:
The Public Health Consultant will act as the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Consultant (CAMHC) for the Women and Family Health Services Adolescent Health section. This position will assist CAMHC providers and mental health partners in assessing local needs for services related to adolescent mental health care and in planning and implementing services to address those needs. Unless required by legislation, the selected candidate will begin at Pay Grade 12, Step 1 of the 1199 Pay Range Schedule ($28.92 per hour), with an opportunity for pay increase after six months ($30.92) of satisfactory performance and then a yearly raise thereafter.
