      NET-A-PORTER are now seeking a talented Public Relations Manager to join the NAP PR and Communications team. Some of the essentials for you to know are:

      Reporting into: Head of Public Relations & Communications, US

      The Role:

      In this role you will promote NET-A-PORTER in all campaigns, activities and events to the media, general public and external audiences and to develop and maintain relationships with key journalists and media within the US market. You will also optimize localization activities for the US region.

      Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

      Brand Building Events

      Lead the planning and execution of brand-building events across the US, in collaboration with the Marketing, Client Relations, Personal Shopping and local production partners.

      Media Relations

      Build and nurture relationships with key media to secure high-impact earned media coverage; elevating the brand through brand stories, product placements, and executive profiling.

      Campaign Execution

      Develop and execute comprehensive earned media plans to support seasonal campaigns, capsule launches, and priority site categories.

      Executive Profiling

      Drive the visibility of NET-A-PORTER and its spokespeople through strategic media opportunities, speaking opportunities, and industry events; develop interview briefings and written content in support of brand positioning.

      Content Development: Draft, edit, and distribute key PR materials, including press releases, media directives, and brand narratives, to support US market priorities.

      Market & Competitive Insights: Monitor and report on competitor activity, media trends, and industry opportunities to inform strategy and maintain competitive edge.

      Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, CRM, Editorial, Channel Marketing, Performance Marketing, and Global Comms to optimize the impact of key moments, product launches, campaigns, and events across owned and earned channels.

      Additional:

      • Engage in department and agency initiatives as needed.
      • Possess deep understanding of all internal communications strategies, tools and systems to ensure alignment with overall brand messaging. Able to drive both internal and external communications when needed.
      • Work closely across all departments and brands to ensure all relevant information is effectively utilized.

      The type of person we are looking for:

      • Graduate (or equivalent) with proven experience as a Communications Manager in a luxury fashion environment
      • Creative thinking and ideas generation – a key skill for this role
      • Demonstrate solid understanding of the luxury fashion industry
      • Proven commercial experience of working in a fast-paced environment
      • Proven track record of creating positive impact on business through PR and communications strategy
      • Confidence in suggesting calculated risks
      • Discreet, professional and well spoken, with excellent communication skills
      • Well-organized, methodical and efficient, with a good dose of common sense and initiative.
      • Pro-active and able to show initiative/ideas to constantly promote the NET-A-PORTER offering.
      • Proven managerial experience within the luxury fashion industry, focused on external communications and expertise in media relations
      • Mix of agency and in-house experience preferred
      • Strong presentation & superb writing skills
      • Able to identify communication opportunities
      • Strong MS Word skills; working knowledge of PowerPoint

      Compensation for this role ranges from $95,000 - $116,000. Salary is negotiable based on skills and experience.
