- Work with the Sabres Communications department to assist in various game-night responsibilities and tasks
- Assist with credential distribution and greet media, scouts and visiting team staff at check in
- Set up the press box and distribute printed game materials throughout the game
- Record home and visitor player postgame audio as well as home and visitor postgame coach press conferences
- Opportunity to assist with theme nights and/or special events throughout the season
- Availability for all Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits home games
- Ideal candidates should be pursuing or have a degree in public relations, journalism or a related field and have some type of experience in sports
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and with a group
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Hard-working personality
- Flexible and able to adapt in high-pressure situations
Summary
Game-night employees will be responsible for assisting the full-time communications staff on game nights and special events. The position is meant to be an initial experience in sports communications and the game-night employees will be involved in a wide range of activities related to the communications operations of the Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits.

Compensation
This role pays $15.50 an hour
