What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and implement integrated strategic communications plans to enhance brand identity
- Create marketing and public relations strategies to build relationships with media and key influencers
- Serve as a spokesperson and lead point person on media interactions
- Recruit and manage a communications team to support the execution of the communications strategy
- Attend networking events and conferences to maintain professional development and build new business contacts
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior management role, either in-house or with an agency
- Proven ability to build relationships with top-tier reporters and editors
- Extensive writing and editing experience across various print and online media
- Demonstrated leadership in managing a comprehensive strategic communications and media relations program
