      Overview

      The Public Safety Officer provides security of patients, visitors, staff and property by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining visitor control and investigating irregularities. Provides information and assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. The Campus Police & Public Safety department promotes a safe and secure environment for staff, patients and visitors. Available 24 hours a day, monitoring emergency security/communications systems within the hospital, investigating irregularities and managing the CCTV surveillance cameras located across the campuses/facilities.

      Education

      High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - And Associate's Degree Criminal Justice Or Bachelor's Degree Preferred
      Experience

      2 Years Security Or Law Enforcement Or Public Safety Or Military Or Clinical - EMS or Medical Transport Service Or Related Position Experience Preferred
