      Our client is looking to hire a Publishing Specialist responsible for updating data, formatting, layout, design and content for print, PDF and presentation materials based on established templates in PowerPoint using the Seismic platform This is a 6+ month contract opportunity. Hybrid position onsite 3 days a week in the LA office Tues - Thurs. Skills and Requirements:
      • Extensive working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 (advanced), Microsoft Excel (intermediate; charting skills critical)
      • Familiarity with financial concepts and the investment industry, including key data elements. Work in another highly regulated industry (pharma, legal) a plus
      • Demonstrates a keen ability to problem solve and manage ambiguity
      • Demonstrates analytical thinking, an eye for detail and ability to spot trends and variances in data; able to work with large volumes of data from multiple sources
      • Self-starter, inspired by ideas and team oriented
      • 1-3 years of experience working in a creative corporate environment


      salary: $40 - $44.83 per hour
      shift: First
      work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
      education: Bachelors

      Responsibilities

      • Updates data, formatting, layout, design and content for print, PDF and presentation materials based on established templates in PowerPoint using the Seismic platform
      • Updates and creates charts, graphs, templates, and exhibits to be used in communications materials, websites, and/or presentations
      • May prepare presentation and notes files for use in meetings and webcasts
      • Customizes materials based on client needs while still applying brand, style and data presentation guidelines
      • Demonstrates a solid working knowledge of the following software: Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 (advanced), Microsoft Excel (intermediate; charting skills critical)
      • Demonstrates detail orientation, process orientation, organizational, and multi-tasking skills; ability to effectively manage an unpredictable workload and meet established deadlines
      • Demonstrates a keen ability to problem solve and manage ambiguity
