      As a Workshop Support Technician, you’ll play an essential role in supporting the pump assembly shop and broader production teams during the overhaul process. Your work will involve tasks critical to maintaining the workshop’s efficiency, ensuring seamless logistics, high standards of housekeeping, and key contributions to the repair cycle.

      Your main tasks and responsibilities:

      • Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety guidelines, using the correct protective equipment.
      • Assist logistics by operating forklifts, moving materials using specialised tools, and handling local deliveries and collections.
      • Support dismantling, shot blasting, and painting of pumps and associated components.
      • Clean and prepare parts for assembly, ensuring components are organised and ready for production.
      • Maintain shortage lists and coordinate with the team to align parts with production schedules.

      To succeed in this role, you will need:

      • Prior experience with shot blasting and painting (desirable).
      • Experience with overhead crane operations.
      • Forklift truck driving experience.
      • Joinery/boxing skills (advantageous).
      • Full UK driving licence.
