      $24.03 per hour

      GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: An employee in this position will be asked to provide general office assistance. This will include placing orders, answering phones, assisting internal and external customers and to provide support as needed.

      ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Answering phones in a timely and courteous manner. Must be able to prioritize assignments. Will be required to place orders in accordance with the guidelines and policies established by Dunn-Edwards Corporation. Must maintain files. Will be required to work with external vendors and service accounts as well as internal personnel (i.e., stores, sales reps and office personnel).
      • Provide support to Purchasing, Stores and Sales teams
      • Reconcile customer problems
      • Reconciliation of payable discrepancies
      • Enter and edit purchase orders and blanket order releases

      SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job does not have supervisory responsibilities.

      EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

      LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. For safety reasons, ability to read, write, and communicate in English is required.

      MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

      REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
