      Job Title:

      Purchasing Coordinator

      Pay Details:

      The starting hourly rate range for this position is $24.00 to $30.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate offered will take internal value, peer equity, job-related factors, and other organizational considerations into account.

      The Purchasing Coordinator position is responsible for supporting the purchasing team with daily receiving, buying and distribution of goods throughout our operation. This role supports procurement activities by assisting in the acquisition of good and services, performing buying duties when necessary, and contacting suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries.

      Responsibilities

      • Receive and match shipments to their associated purchase orders

      • Receive purchase orders, invoices and other forms and reconciles for completeness and accuracy

      • Store and retrieve purchase orders, proof of purchase, proof of delivery, pricing quotes, receipts, and other necessary documents

      • Report damages and shortages to the purchasing department

      • Work with vendors to resolve shortages, damaged product and missed or late deliveries

      • Create requisitions and ensures proper delivery of product to F&B locations

      • Perform regular inventory reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions

      • Provide administrative and clerical support to the department

      • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

      Skills

      • Bachelor’s degree preferred

      • 2+ year’s experience in purchasing role

      • Hands-on experience with purchasing software

      • Working knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)

      • Understanding of supply chain procedures

      • Solid analytical skills with the ability to create reports and conduct cost analysis

      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

      • Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills

      Knowledge, Skills and Experience

      Education - High School Diploma or Equivalent

      Experience Required – 2+ years
