Job Description

- Graduate or experienced non-graduate
- Understanding of the principles and concepts associated with purification methodologies (chromatography/TFF) and an appreciation of the relevant science and literature
- Purification of nucleic acid and protein may be an advantage
- Problem-solving skills related to data analysis
- Understanding of the basic principles and concepts in a broad range of technology, or substantial experience in a narrower field of technology
- Understanding of compliance systems
- Good communication skills
- Understanding of range of subject areas within R&D
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
Position: Purification Development Scientist – 18 months Fixed-term Contract or Secondment

Accountabilities
As a Purification Development Scientist, you will contribute to the planning and design of purification processes, lead your own work to meet agreed targets and quality standards, and perform relevant experiments. You will interpret results based on standard methodology, modify or improve processes and systems, and assess and report data with a clear understanding of its implications within the overall context of drug development. You will also provide technical instruction to the team, liaise with colleagues from other disciplines, and develop your own level of proficiency through continuous learning.
