- Properly inspect and operate a slip sheet forklift.
- Safely load and unload trailers, ensuring weight distribution, load integrity, and adherence to shipping instructions.
- Understand and apply storage and rotation procedures.
- Identify and transport materials to and from various locations such as machines, loading docks, and storage areas.
- Apply knowledge of machine loading capacity and schedules for prompt and efficient delivery.
- Use protective materials and strapping equipment to secure loads; manage waste disposal after deliveries.
- Report any problems with materials or transportation to supervisor.
- Manage and organize drums, skids, pallets, and other supplies in specified areas.
- Service equipment as needed and report mechanical or electrical issues to supervisor.
- Operate forklift safely and move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, and storage areas.
- Identify and label materials, recording their locations to maintain inventory.
- Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, and loading them.
- Perform other related duties as requested.
- Experience with slip sheet forklifts is mandatory.
- Ability to operate a sit-down forklift with slip sheet attachment.
- Capability to complete 5-10 complete loads per day, with each load containing 30 sheets.
- Experience in loading, unloading, and forklift operation.
- Slip Sheet Warehouse Experience.
- Clean driver’s license.
- Experience in production, picking, inventory, warehouse packing, material handling, inspection.

Job Description
Join our team as a Push/Pull Forklift Operator, where you will utilize your skills in forklift operation to ensure the safe and efficient loading and unloading of materials. This role requires a strong understanding of storage and rotation procedures, as well as experience with slip sheet forklifts.

Work Environment
Work in a non-climate controlled warehouse with shifts available from 7am to 4pm, 8am to 5pm, or 9am to 6pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
