      Job Description:

      Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Pylon Stress Engineer (f/m) to join our Propulsion Engineering center based in Toulouse, France.

      YOU will join the design office in charge of designing and integrating the pylon , one of the main structural components. Pylon function is to ensure the primary link between the engine and the aircraft and to route aircraft vital functions such as bleed, hydraulic, electrical. As such, the working environment is multidisciplinary and challenging. Along with defining the future pylon and the route to decarbonization, our missions are to support pylon production and support the fleet while continuously improving our product. Our design office offers an end-to end vision of our products, reinforced by the proximity of the plant. We are working on all commercial and military programs.

      Your challenges:

      • Support Manufacturing improvement for time and cost gain

      • Support in service A/C operators by approving repairs, adaptations

      • Support continuous improvement of the product to maximize company and operators profitability

      • Ensure airworthiness of the whole fleet, from in production to in service aged aircraft

      • Support development and certification activities

      Your boarding pass:

      • You have a degree in Engineering or equivalent

      • Experience in Static Stress and Finite Element Model

      • Experience in composite and/ or Fatigue and Damage tolerance would be a plus

      • Knowledge of tools as Nastran, Hypermesh, Abaqus or Catia would be a plus

      • You are dynamic, curious and pro-active

      • You demonstrate strong team spirit

      • You have an advanced level in English and French

      Salary range:

      Salary range based on the required profile: 39 to 49K€/year (including a variable part based on your performance). Information provided as an indication.
